I bought a 3T Doric Team Road Bicycle Seatpost (27.2 mm x 280 mm) from Amazon. This was sold by BikeSomeWhere, LLC. I got it in Feb 2011. I am a 5' 11", 165lbs male rider. I ride about 35miles during the weekend. This is hardly the kind of ride wear and tear this part should have been designed for. Today the seatpost broke during by ride. I have used other carbon fiber seat posts, but I have never had one break on me. It has been about 20 months since purchase. So I assume I have no recourse, but to dump my investment. As for the clamping mechanism, I agree with the other reviews, it is also very painful to work with. I tried uploading a photo of the broken seatpost, but Amazon only allows videos, no photos.
