We purchased these trikes for our twins boys when they were 22 months. I like the look of the trikes but wish they were a little heavier. They still haven't mastered pedaling, but they have a ton of fun on them. We have the seat at the closest setting & they can reach the pedals. They enjoy filling up the basket and occasionally using it to take each other for a ride. The hand brakes are rather useless.

The hardest part of putting the bikes together were putting on the rubber handle bars and removing the cap for bar you can use to steer (we put the bar on at first but then decided to remove it).

If you're deciding b/w Italtrike & Radio Flyer, I would go with Italtrike. Our friends have the Radio Flyer, and I think that the Italtrike is better quality. I do wish Italtrike sold accessories like Kettler. We bought the Kettler bells, but they were too big. I would also like straps for the pedals to help keep their feet in place.
