Sherwood Elite Open Heel Pocket Fin (Ice Blue, Large) Review

These fins are great. I loved the stretchable silicone heel strap as it makes donning and doffing easier while maintaining a hold on the fin. As with any non-adjustable strap such as Stainless steel spring straps fit is extremely important. Sherwood has a sizing chart on their website and I advise everyone to use this.

My shoe size is 13 with a width of EE/2E, I use these fins with size 13 hard sole boots. I bought the XL size and the fit is absolutely perfect.

These fins are noticeably lighter than my split fins which makes them good for traveling. The are also great at alternate kicks such as frog kicks. If its speed you're looking for splits may be better as they are easier on your legs but for thrust in currents these blade fins are excellent. I would definitely recommend these to new divers or anyone wanting a pair of good all round fins for scuba or snorkeling.
