This worked great for my hip replacement, although the incision on one side was a little larger. (You can extend the size of the absorbent area with a little gauze and tape if necessary, but you lose the waterproof seal.)

This was MUCH BETTER than the tons of tape and gauze the hospital used, and much less painful to remove! I bit more expensive, but worth it.
