These are nice looking boots, but they are about a whole size smaller than what they state. I ordered an 8 1/2 but they fit more like a 7 1/2. I intended on sending them back but unfortunatly FedEx shredded the packaging(interior through to the boots themselves), I've never seen such a mess! The leather finish is a bit shineier than the photo, and the leather has that natural cracking look that is also not visible in the photos. Also, I have quite small calves 13 1/2 and the boots were a bit large around them. Mostly I like them, but order the next size up if you buy them.
