It's nice to see a start up company in the USA (I believe the New York region renowned for their knife making) come up with a wonderful like of knives. I was pointed me to the Canal Street Cutlery brand and I was totally blown away from the overall quality and workmanship of these knives. Granted that the Canal Street knives are significantly more expensive than the currently knives but where else can you purchase a made in the USA product with the high workmanship that's rarely offered in other places? After my initial purchase of this knife and I was allowed to inspect it firsthand, I immediately placed an order for six additional knives for either gifts or storage. I believe in the adage of "if you see something you really like, you better buy a few additional because they will shortly stop making them"... You cannot go wrong buying this knife.
