Attack on Titan Shingeki No Kyojin Mikasa Ackerman Cosplay Costume Female Size M Review

Overall, the costume is fantastic. Everything was in good quality and most of it fit just right. The item also arrived about one and a half weeks before it was said to arrive! (Arrived Oct. 18th vs Expected Delivery on Oct, 22-Nov, 2nd) I will try to put up some pictures if I have time later. I'm going to split this review for the different parts of the costume:

JACKET: The jacket is really made of good material. It's just slightly darker than described in the picture, but that's due to lighting for the picture. It's not so dark though; it looks like the color they have in the anime. You can request the patches to be either embroidered on or printed on; I got them embroidered on. As I said before: it was nicely done. The only complaint is that it was slightly small for me. I'm about 115 lbs. so I'm not 'big' per say; I normally fit into the size (Female:Small), but it was sort of tight. it wasn't so tight that I didn't like it, however, it's just not a 'perfect' fit. You can't tell that it's tight from an outsider's perspective, though.

HARNESS/STRAP THINGS: It's made out of pleather, so if you were expecting leather, like no. The work done on it is really, really nice. The buttons are mostly for show, but they don't look too cheap. As any fan may have noticed, the lower leg straps DO NOT go all the way to your feet, like they do in the anime. They kind of awkwardly stop right where the knee section is (you can see from the product picture). The belt part (the part right about the apron kind of thing) is kind of high; it rests a little above my hips. My only real bad complaint is because the the leg straps. The four belts that run horizontally across your leg are different sizes. (two longer, two shorter). The two shorter ones were a little tight, and the two longer ones were either just right or a little loose.

APRON: It's made out of fabric that is a little stretchy, which is nice. It fits just right, but since the belt is a little higher than necessary, there's a little space in between. This can be easily fixed if you attached it to something around the belt.

Overall, it's a good costume. For something that's bought online, it's really good. I would recommend this to people who want to cosplay in the future. On the side note, remember to check the measurements! If you don't fit a particular size, contact the seller. Showtimecosplay is REALLY good with customer service. If you need to give them any measurements, give an inch or two leeway because although you do measure yourself exactly, clothing is still supposed to be looser. The guy that assists you named Tim is really helpful.

The belt system IS confusing. But that isn't seller's fault; it's naturally just really confusing. When you're trying to put the belts on, I would try to have a picture of how the straps are supposed to look while you're trying it on for the first and second time.
*I didn't buy the shirt and the pants; I just bought the straps, the jacket, and the apron. I paid less for this. Like said before, Showtimecosplay is really helpful and they will help you with anything.
