As advertised, this rope is good starting length/weight for battle rope training. I use it for general fitness training and its especially good for beginners as it has enough length to make you work a little but it's not so much that a beginner can't get it undulating. Came out of the box a little stiff/kinked, but it seems to be loosening up with more use.
