Fit like a glove. I typically wear 32 or 33 waist so I bought them in medium/32. They are perfect and do stretch a bit as you ride. I wear a lightweight nylon belt while riding to keep them from riding down. Very comfortable even with the heavy & durable material. They break in well after about a dozen rides/washes and lose some of the stiff & scratchy texture.
