Time will tell if it's a good buy or a great buy. I'll try to update this review in a year... The unit is well thought out, seems tough and easy to use. The main blower inflates and deflates the unit quickly even if you're on it. Since I weight is 250lbs, I think thats saying something. The small additional pump is controlled by a dial you manually set from plush to firm. I have it set on plush and it seem quite firm to me. I plan to add a foam topper in the near future. I seem to sleep like a rock without waking, but that's normal for me. the unit seem to lose a little bit of air each night. Not enough to notice while using it, but you can ever so slightly hear the little automatic pump kick on when I get off the mattress every morning. Please note that that little pump is very hard to hear while running. So, at this point I'll say that the write up the manufacture has written is correct and it is exactly as stated. I'm quite happy with the product.
