Used this mounted sideways on the front of my pontoon to mount my tiller trolling motor. Lets me easily remove it leaving just the 2 disk mounts. And though it's mounted sideways, the motor doesn't torque the mount at all - very solid! Now, how many times did I squeeze in the term mount in one form or another? :)
