Cabela's Mountain Trapper Sleeping Bag Review

As with all of the items I have used that carry the Cabela's brand, this sleeping bag is no exception. The tough outer shell looks good and is made of a tough durable fabric that appears plenty tough enough to put up with rough treatment. The inner lining is very soft and appears that it will be very durable as well. The filling expands nicely when the bag is unrolled and makes for a soft inviting bag in which to get a good nights sleep. Unfortunately it is June now and all I can do is sleep on top of the bag until colder weather arrives (at which time, I will update this review. I can already tell you that this bag is going to be very warm and cozy on those cold nights) - I am really looking forward to taking this bag with me to hunting camp this fall/winter. I have owned/used many sleeping bags in the $50-$100 range and this by far is the best I've seen. Friends and family were very impressed, especially when they found out that it was available for under $100. The Cabela's Mountain Trapper Sleeping Bag is very well made from high quality materials, with excellent workmanship and thoughtful design which all combine to make this sleeping bag a class act that will last and give many years of excellent service.
