What can I say that hasn't already been said about the Spyderco Pacific Salt in the serrated version?

I mean good Lord, folks this is a fabulous little pocket shark of a knife!

Now, keep in mind that H1 steel isn't the hardest stuff on earth because of an extremely low, almost nonexistant carbon content.

Its a "work hardening" steel, which means the more you grind on this stuff, the harder it gets.
Plain edge Spydie Salts are nice, but in my experience they don't hold a razors' edge anywhere near as long as the good ol' Spyderco serrated models. That extra grinding to create the classic Spyder-edge turns the Salts from pussycat to sabretooth, and I mean sharp.

Shaving sharp...

So if you want a knife in your pocket you cannot rust that will perform the tasks normally assigned to the tool...this is The Knife for you. When I say cannot rust I mean exactly that, unless you want to leave your pet Spydie in the prolonged company of concentrated pool disinfectants such as chlorine tablets!

Ive cut onion, potato, tomato, citrus and a host of other things that make even high quality stain-less steel knives balk, w/ no staining, pitting, patina, or any other negative effects. I sweat like a horse, and my Cold Steel Voyagers need daily care when being carried in that front jeans pocket. I know some of you guys out there have the same "condensation difficulties"....knife gets soakin' wet and problems occur. Not so for Spydie Salts!

I highly recommend the Spyderco Salt knives in the Spyder-edge configuration.
