3M Durapore Surgical Tape, 1/2" x 10 yds, 240/Cs Review

I have very sensitive skin. Regular bandaids make bigger wounds than I cover because the elastic part either makes spots that turn into wounds or tears the top layer of skin off. Sorry, TMI. It's those waterproof ones, I think, that do the peeling. So I took to using rolls of fabric tape that you can get in the store or online. They are like the ones doctors use to cover a piece of gauze, but not the stretchy kind. It got to where even those irritated my skin. Maybe I wasn't changing them often enough, but I thought that would make it worse. Anyhoo, I thought I'd try this. It works really well, but does, like most of them, tend to roll up on the edges and need to be replaced. I think they will work well for me. I have seen red impressions of the bandaid, I think, but no new wounds. Sometimes I use the tape alone, but I think you really need to use gauze or something similar for the wound to heal. It seems to stay the same with just tape on. I'm just learning this from trial and error. I really should ask a nurse or someone what to do.
