I have the old Allen bike system and needed another for our other vehicle. I love this one a lot better as it seems to be a little more sturdier then the previous model. The big change is the new tie downs they have changed from the strap method to a new that is faster and you don't have the straps hanging every where. This is great and is perfect for carrying your bikes around. Just make sure you put the heaviest bike on first or the rack will slide down and become unbalanced. Overall really impressed with this bike rack and really enjoy it. This makes carrying a bike on your vehicle very easy.
