Both helmets are nice looking for different reasons, the Fox striker is a standard profile, looks a little larger on your head than the lower profile of the Uvex Sport. Comfort initially as still testing the Uvex, at first try, the Uvex fit is more rounder and to me feels more comfortable as no pressure points on my temples. The Fox striker seems to fit more of an oval shape, have to adjust to make comfortable, and seems like it has changed from the comfort of the flux model. I have a neck injury so I am more sensitive in head & neck area. The weight difference is only 22 grams. I do also like the lower profile of the Uvex as my head doesn't look like I'm wearing a bowling ball on top. I love the bug shield, yes love, why you ask?? well I'll tell you, ha ha, out in my Striker the other day when a bug flew into an opening and got stuck in my hair, talk about being freaked out as this whatever it is, is bouncing around my head also freaking out!!! I had to stop my ride and get it out hoping it didn't sting me as a result! too funny...The striker has an extra set of padding to use as you wash the other set, nice as the Uvex only has the one set. Price wise- still weighting it out as yes there is a $74+ difference depending on where you buy from, but price is not everything in a helmet, so have to get back to that after testing is complete. I have included some photo's to check out, so see for yourself. The rear retention systems in both helmet work, I do find the Uvex easier to use, but both do the job fine. I have to say I really do like the Striker helmet and have decided to keep both helmets. Time will tell on price vs. comfort, as for protection, it really depends on your preference. As for styling- both come in some pretty cool color options so happy hunting, I was surprised to learn black does not make everything smaller!!! My first helmet I tested the Fox flux was flat black and it looked like the whole bowling ball thing, ha ha ha. I chose the Silver with black visor and red accents, nice looking on for sure. The Uvex was on sale so the offer was for the Black, dark silver and white one, but with the lower profile it looks great!! So I'll update this in a week after a few riding trips are completed, then I'll be able to give a better end result, but for now hope this gives you some idea about both as they are both great options!
