Product Description
The fisheries of the Northeast and Northwest have been in turmout to say the least. However the future looks bright. The lake trout have come back strong in the last few years and the Northwest rivers are seeing the strongest runs of salmon and steelhead in recent history. With input from some of the top fishermen on these waters we developed the Celilo series. Throwing modesty out the window we nailed these actions and developed the perfect salmon, trout and bottom bouncing graphite rods. Although beautiful, you don't have to take out that second mortgage to load the boat with them.Okuma CELILO Graphite Casting Rod (12- 25 Lbs, 8-Feet, Heavy) Review
I use this Okuma CELILO Graphite Casting Rod on the beach, pier and boat. I have it paired up with a Abu Garcia Revo Fishing Reel (S, Line Weight- 12/140), loaded up with 30lb test Power Pro Line. The rod is extremely lightweight and tough as nails. The casting is very accurate close in or far out. The nine foot length makes for a nice stationary surf rod when placed in a sand spike, yet you could walk around casting all day without your arms getting tired. The rod is very sensitive and the fish can't feel the tip until it's too late. So far I have caught with the rod a 19" door mat (flounder), bluefish, 18" Red Drum, and numerous Skates and Dogfish. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Okuma CELILO Graphite Casting Rod (12- 25 Lbs, 8-Feet, Heavy)" are high quality item.
